1. Durability

In addition, the fabric has to be treated for water resistance, stain resistance, performance & UV fastness.
2. Maintenance
None of the upholstery fabric is suitable for neither wet wash nor dry wash. You can use a dry vacuum cleaner or follow the maintenance advisory provided by the manufacturer. At times, the fabric may require higher periodical maintenance by means of a special aerosol spray.
3. Cost of the upholstery fabric
The cost of the fabric is a major concern in the choice of fabric. Check the options with a keen eye with upholstery fabric shops. If the upholstery demands a very sharp pricing, the choice of fabric would be based on cotton, polyester, and rayon blends. If the end produces commands a higher brand equity the choice may be leather/ linen.
